Job Description:

The Material Program Administrator is a function within the Program Supply Chain Management team providing support for the day to day activities of a depot level repair facility. This individual should have the ability to chair material availability meetings, influence others, and develop/execute program procurement plans to meet the objectives of the program. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


- Generation of Material Requests
- Administers submission of Material Requests to external procuring activities
- Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided with Material Requests to the procuring activity so that proper receipt may be recorded
- Tracks, and expedites when necessary, the conversion of Material Requests into Purchase Orders
- Acts as primary liaison between the Integrated Support Facility, the assigned procuring activity, and associated buyers
- Supports pricing requests
- Maintains appropriate records of material transactions as required by Corporate and Program policies
- Tracks and periodically audits shelf life requirements of consumable materials
- Initiates and maintains Master Part Files.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a supply chain function is required, preferably in a government contractor setting. The candidate must have strong communication skills, written and oral, and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Required Education:


Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain preferred. An additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for education.

Experience with requirements and specifications

Other Requirements (Clearance, travel):

SECRET - existing clearance preferred. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
