Job Description:
- Responsible for conducting engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
- Perform engineering tests, detailed experimental testing or operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- May work with complex machines or computer systems.
- Answer internal inquiries and troubleshoot software and hardware failures either in person or on the phone.
- Ensure systems and related equipment are in working condition.
- Maintain records on repairs, down time, changes and updates.
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates should have a high school diploma and 4 years relevant professional experience; or a commensurate combination of education, training and experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Unix, Linux operating systems.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Exhibits an understanding of engineering application configuration and integration with the desktop.
This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret/SSBI clearance and to maintain the clearance.
