District Manager
The District manager is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and training to their designated stores. The DM is expected to drive individual store achievement of operations protocol (profitability, expense control, inventory control, customer service index) and exstablish effective action plans to correct underperformance. The DM is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction, facility appearance, and effective hiring, training, and talent development.

Operational Leadership

Drive Results through the guidance and leadership of the district to achieve or exceed division and company expectations.

Monitor and measure the proper execution of key processes identified within the Company operationg policies and procedures manual

Provide direction to ensure that safety, cutomer satisfaction, daily audits, housekeeping and inventory are managed within Company guidelines with continual focus on improvement.

Conduct regular visits to each assigned store in the district.

During each visit, review and analyze the store financial and operational performance. Set corrective action plans and establish timing for follow-up review.

Ensure each store within District achieves a satisfactory score on all internal audits.

Attends retail store team member meeting and and ensures monthly safety meetings are being held.

Assists Human Resources Department in maintaining OSHA safety records and proper posting of MSDA information. Also ensures that all state and federal postings are properly displayed in stores.

Assist Accounting Department with any issues concerning payable or receivables for stores within district.

Must be able to work a minimum of 5 days per week including rotational Saturdays, as well as unscheduled overtime when required.
Team Member Management

Effectively recruit and identify high caliber talent that fit into Company culture

Hire a diverse workforce.

Properly utilize a performance evaluation process to provide candid feedback to team members. Establish proper coaching methods to continually improve overall performance.

Provide new hire sales training and on-boarding for all new hires.

Effectively manage staffing levels in accordance with Company standards and trends.
Communication Skills
- Effectively write, deliver and/or communicate organizational and district messages to ensure proper execution at the retail store level.
- Act as a liaison between retial store and Executive Management on areas such as Human Resources, Advertising, Marketing, Operations, Real Estate/Facility needs, and Operating Statements.
- Monitor and report to Executive Management market intelligence which impacts business and pricing within the division and market.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 10 years within the Automotive industry.
- At least 5 years with progressive responsibility in a management role.
- Previous responsibility for the successful management of multiple locations within a distric, territory or zone.
- Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through direct responsibility for attaining sales and profit goals.
- Proven and verifiable ability to develop monthly, quarterly and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
- Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License, or obtain a valid Texas Drivers License within 30 days of hire.
