JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking professional individuals to perform in a technical call management capacity in our Mechanicsburg, PA facility.

  • Manage a team of Technical Support staff
  • Answering calls on the Technical Support phone line
  • Assisting field technicians with any technical issues they have while onsite
  • Responsible for select accounts SLA performance
  • Responsible for monitoring all open P1 service calls for cost effectiveness and SLA adherence
  • Parts movement (after hours)
  • New bid equipment evaluation and supportability
  • Driving escalated service calls to be closed in a timely manner

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of Managerial experience
  • Help Desk experience
  • A+ Certification (plus any additional certifications)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sun server experience a plus
  • Dec Alpha server experience a plus
  • Windows server hardware certifications a plus
  • 2 years field hardware experience preferred
  • Unix, Microsoft, Mac OS experience
  • Printer knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of contracted customer SLA's
  • Southware knowledge
  • Ability to work in an independent as well as a team environment
  • "Hands-on" experience with high-end equipment (servers, tape systems, hid-range equipment, controllers)

Must be flexible in work schedule since this is a 24x7 environment.

Starting salary: DOE
