The main duties of this position are to greet and assist the customers in their selection and purchase of merchandise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Practices good customer service (GUEST program)
- Meets or exceeds company goal on individual mystery shopper report
- Enters customer data and other sales data for customers into POS (sales, returns, special orders, engraving, repairs) completely and accurately and obtains proper signatures on customer sales
- Pulls jewelry from stock/cases to show customers and replaces in correct area when sale is completed
- May repair, polish or solder jewelry
- Provides knowledgeable service to customers on product information utilizing in-store tools/training
- Follows all safety procedures
- Follows all established Company policies and procedures
- Boxes and wraps gift selections
- Assists store management in meeting company standards in overall store presentation
- Assists with daily housekeeping and maintenance duties
- Attends all required meetings
- Participate in the employee safety program by abiding by all company safety rules and instructions
Minimum Requirements Include:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to speak read and write English
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Participate in the employee safety program by abiding by all company safety rules and instructions
- Must be able to work the day before and after Thanksgiving. Must be available the week before Christmas
- Must be able to work week-ends
