Job DescriptionApplicant should have at least 1-year experience working in the field pulling cable and doing basic cable terminations. Applicant should be able to read a standard audio-visual engineering drawing package, pull cables working off schematics, and fully terminate cables (solder & crimping, etc). Should have experience mounting and installing ceiling projectors, wall mounted plasmas, ceiling speakers, and most general audio visual field devices. Person should possess good overall problem solving & troubleshooting skills. ยท Upload Code for at least two of the following audio systems; Clearone/Gentner, Vortex, and Biamp
*Problem solving and trouble shooting of issues that comes up during an installation.
*Lead team members from the start of the installation to job completion.
*Full working knowledge of commercial construction methods such as ceiling deck construction, wall framing and structural engineering.
*Interaction with clients, general contractors, electrical contractors, etc.
*Daily field reporting to project manager/ Lead Technician
Responsibilities
Include installation of integrated audio-visual/videoconferencing systems, site maintenance and evaluation, as well as ability to upgrade.
Candidates must have experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting AV, and VTC equipment a minimum of 2 years. Knowledge of and experience in Audio Visual/ Videoconferencing Integration is a necessity.
