PA-C for a busy orthopaedic practice



Paramount Staffing, one of Atlanta 's elite medial staffing agencies is accepting CV'S for a full time licensed PA-C for a busy orthopaedic practice in Marietta.

Job duties include:

Escorting patients, obtaining history, x-rays, scheduling diagnostic studies/surgery and obtaining pre-certs for same. Preparing and assisting/administering injections/aspirations, applying/removing casts, splints, braces, performing dressing changes and removing sutures/staples as well as performing minor office procedures. Will also complete PT referrals, return to work slips, applications for handicapped parking.

Will provide patients with educational materials regarding surgery/diagnostic studies or equipment/casts, write Rx, coordinate work-in appointments.

Will also be responsible for assisting the physician in outpatient surgery/pain management procedures.

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited PA program

EXPERIENCE: Two years experience as a PA, preferably in Orthopaedics.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Certification from the National Commission of Certification of PA’s.

Compensation is commensurate with education and experience
