Grafton is a not for profit, nationally recognized leader in behavioral healthcare. Grafton employees more than 700 employees and supports more than 400 clients per year in three facilities.
Our Berryville Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) is a CARF accredited program that supports clients aged 6-21 with an accute psychiatric diagnosis in addition to an existing intellectual disability.
In the dynamic role of therapist, you will have a wide range of tasks that will allow you to showcase your skills. In addition to providing one to one therapy to clients, you will also be a vital part of the multi-disciplinary team. As a member of this team, you will work with other professionals to review and evaluate the child's progress on a monthly basis using evidence based data.
Other roles and responsibilities include: - Case documentation - Family therapy - Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with licensing (Medicaid) standards - Complete periodic progress reviews - Interface with referring agencies - Crisis management - Develop Individual Education Plan Goals, if appropriate - Particpate in medication reviews with on site psychiatrist.

Education: Masters in Social Work or Counselingfrom an accredited program.
Experience: Prefer at least two years experience in a residential setting.
Licensure: Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia |
