Substance Abuse Counselor: Community Education Centers

Community Education Centers(CEC) is a leading provider of residential and outpatient community corrections programs. We seek a Substance Abuse Counselor.

In this role you will be responsible for chemical dependency education, group facilitation, individual counseling, case management, and maintaining case files. You will focus on developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for a case load of residents. Accordingly, you will assess and identify issues for each resident and create clear objectives and goals. You will also track and document resident progress in case reports while working to meet all required internal and external standards and policies.

Must be experienced in substance abuse counseling and motivated to work in a correctional facility. Master's degree in a mental health field and clinically licensed or license eligible preferred. Will consider Bachelor's level individual with an appropriate amount of clinical experience who is willing to/working toward Addiction Certification and/or Master's degree in mental health field.
