OPEN POSITION NOTICE Asst. Dir. Financial Accounting & Analysis (3AS08) Hiring Range: $29,975 - $42,718 Pay Band: 5 State Classification: Accountant/Fiscal Analyst II JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage and perform major accounting functions including: preparation of draft GASB & FASB financial statements and footnotes; reconciling and analyzing financial data; preparation of tax forms and reports; initiation and monitoring of internal controls. Provide fiscal oversight of State and Federal Grants, including the preparation of required reports. Complete professional internal audit/review assignments. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours in accounting related courses and 2 years accounting experience; or an Associate's degree with accounting related courses and 4 years accounting experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3 years experience preferred. Experience in Grant Accounting desirable.
