Job description:

We are looking for someone to primarily support the RF and DC in process environment screening of flight hardware, in addition, the candidate will support automated RF/Microwave testing of flight model units deliverable to the spacecraft.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • RF Microwave device packaging experience.
  • Ability to effectively collect and organize test data, follow test procedures, and instructions for the completion of assigned tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of RF test equipment including, but not limited to Network Analyzers Spectrum Analyzers, Noise figure Meters, Signal Generators, Power Meters, DMMs, and other assigned equipment.
  • Experience in the measurement of RF/microwave parameters such as Gain, NF , OIP3, NPR phase noise, spurious, and EMC (RE, R5, CE, CS) and be able to integrate test set to measure each.
  • Assemble, calibrate and operate manual and automated test stations.
  • Perform leak testing, mechanical shock, and electrical screening of flight hardware.

Nonessential functions of the job:

  • Possess good mechanical skills based on hand-eye coordination
  • Familiar with the testing and handling of hermetic packages is desired.
  • Familiar with MS Word and Excel

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess a AA/AD Degree, 2 years directly related experience with the testing of RF/Microwave devices or subassemblies. Substitute 5 years minimum RF/Microwave experience for degree.
