 Residential Mortgage Loan Officer - Fortuna
Job Description:
Originates residential loans through solicitation of real estate brokers and consumers. Obtains required documents, takes special credit applications and follows through to closing.
Sells the advantages of the company and various loan products. May recommend loan terms.
Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent and knowledge of mortgage lending standards.
3-5 years previous experience as a mortgage loan officer; outside sales experience generating leads and referrals
Knowledge and experience of mortgage rules, regulations, and procedures
Superior customer service skills, strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required, annual required, or job-specific training.
