Senior Developer
The Senior Developer delivers quality software deliverables
and is instrumental in mentoring other developers.
You can also expect to:
- Provide reasonable feedback of
progress to management
- Create estimates for software
deliverables
- Provide subject matt er review of software documentation
- Interact with external and
internal groups (customer, other departments, etc.) to gather software
requirements
- Review architecture and/or
design to ensure that product is extendable to accommodate further
development and maintenance
- Create designs that satisfy the
software requirement
- Deliver software in a reasonable
timeframe as indicated by the development plan
- Deliver software that satisfies
the design
- Ensure the software meets
project standards
- Test software to ensure quality
software deliverables
- Mentor other developers
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- 5 – 7 plus years of experience
- Primarily SQL and database
concepts
- Database modeling
- Server side web scripting using
JSP/ASP/ASP.net
- Programming languages
Java/C#/C++
- Experience in JBOSS SQL Server
2005 Hibernate AJAX with JSON REST EJB’s, Web Services and Work Point
- Proficiency in client and
server side web development using javascript,vbscript, and HTML
- Excellent communication skills
