Business Operations Officer




Medical facility is seeking a change oriented Business Operations Manager to lead and direct business operations areas including: Cashiering, Customer Service, Credit/Collections, Medical Coding, Billing, Industrial Billing and Receptionists. Some of the job duties are as follows:


Ø Conducts weekly review of various business reports related to: payer mix, payer rejections, claims processing reimbursements, adjustments, credit card processing, collections, bank deposits, payer carrier rejections after claims processing, payer claim acceptance monitoring for preventable denials and other business measurement tools.

Ø Provides periodic reporting of information to Physicians, Senior Management and staff as requested.

Ø Keeps supervisors and staff informed of policy or procedures changes, and also manages/directs supervisors.

Ø Must have extensive customer service experience as this job requires consults with patients/customers to resolve customer issues a needed, and open communication with management and all departments.

Ø Some experience in Human Resources is preferred as this position is responsible for employee hiring, supervision, performance management counseling’s and terminations


Qualifications include a Bachelors in Business Administration equivalent work experience. 5-10+ years in a medical/clinic office setting. Multi speciality clinic experience is preferred.
