POSITION
WebLogic Architect

Job Description:

This position will be focused on the relocation of an application from a third party data center. This position will serve as an IT Operation Architect and Configuration management. Responsibilities:

  • Not a leadership role with direct reports, but leardership relevant to the project. Individual contributor
  • Really looking for an architect. Not a developer, but out and out Architect
  • Ant, Maven, and Hudson; the main concern was managing deployments in WebLogic
  • Possibly identifying standards for making this app work with legacy is the next role after this


Position Requirements:
  • Experience with 9.2 is good for the 10.3 upgrade
  • Some build-out of the environments would be required
  • Technical lead for application relocation
  • Ability to interface with many work groups on a large project with many stakeholders
  • Documentation, Architecture drawings, script creation, etc
Behavior Characteristics:
  • 4 years of WebLogic 10.3
  • 2 years of Unix/Linux
  • 4 years of Java
  • 4 years of Network, firewalls, load balancers
  • 2 years of Maven, Ant, Hudson
  • 2 years of Virtualization
