Rapidly growing consortium of colleges is in search of Specialists. The Specialist position is often the first point of contact for prospects interested in information relating to the GEN consortium of colleges.


Responsibilities Include:
Support

  • Answering inbound telephone inquiries for multiple locations using specified script(s)
  • Obtain contact information and lead generator source for entry into appropriate database
  • Warm, live transfer of the prospect to an available representative at the desired campus
  • Respond to live chat inquiries from multiple GEN consortium web sites
  • Execute outbound call campaigns, using specified script(s), as needed
  • Research, and resolve timely, internal lead entry related inquiries as needed
  • Complete assigned tasks within contact manager database timely
  • Process lead inquiries from multiple marketing sources related to GEN consortium
  • Other tasks/projects as needed



Education/Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong verbal and customer service skills required
  • Multi-tasking abilities required, may be required to simultaneously respond to inbound phone inquiries, and/or respond to live chats, and obtain and input contact information into appropriate database, and/or warm transfer live calls, and/or work on various assigned projects, while maintaining accuracy
  • Active listening skills required
  • Call center and previous sales experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills desired
  • Self-reliant and reliable
  • Some college preferred
