JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in Social Services. Work with uninsured patients by telephone. Assist them with securing benefits from Medicaid and charity programs. The goal is to help them receive coverage for their medical related expenses. Work with the agencies that provide the benefits and serve as a referral base for other services found in the community. We are seeking individuals who have Medicaid program/process knowledge. Bilingual skills are a +.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Degree is preferred but is not required
• Background with Medicaid process knowledge a plus
• Bilingual skills helpful
• Social Service experience is a plus
• Must be a good communicator
• Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute (typing test will be administered)
