Job Summary

What we are looking for:

This position is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for physician practices. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Monitoring accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness,
    • Preparing check requests, filing, bank reconciliations,
    • Preparing and processing journal entries, reconciling subsidiary systems to the general ledger,
    • Preparing monthly and annual financial statement packages for both internal and external reporting in compliance with GAAP and applicable governmental accounting rules and regulations, preparing and maintaining supporting working papers,
    • Preparing financial analyses for departmental and institutional planning, monitoring and analyzing revenues and actual expenditures in relation to budget.

SKILLS REQUIRED: CPA, GENERAL LEDGER, BUDGET PREPARATION, LAWSON, FINANCIAL REPORTING, FINANCIAL ANALYSIS, ANALYTICAL SKILLS, MS OUTLOOK, DATA ENTRY, MS EXCEL
