POSITION OVERVIEW
This Sales Productivity Program Manager opportunity is a critical component of the EMC Inside Sales career development program. This program is focused on early-career stage sales professionals by providing a unique training and experiential opportunity designed to advance the next generation of Sales Leaders at EMC.
The role is responsible for the project and program management of EMC’s Inside Sales Division technical and sales training programs. The program focus could range from New Hire training to the reinforcement of technology or skills development as sales development (Sales Associates) or quota-carrying sales reps (Inside Sales Reps).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategize with Productivity Manager and functional managers regarding the overall sales and business training objectives. May drive the identification, development, and implementation of new training projects and programs. Determine required resources and course scheduling designed to provide the Sales Associates and Inside Sales Reps with the highest level of quality in training and development.
- Provide overall management, maintenance and continuous improvement of Inside Sales training programs
- Regularly conduct stakeholder/risk analysis of Inside Sales organization and manage a training plan
- Create and maintain training roadmaps, course descriptions, training guides, and reinforcement plans
- Take a lead role in the development of training classes, working with Sales Managers to run reviews, competition results, and ensuring a consistent point of contact for trainees during training program
- Assists sales and technical trainers in creation/validation/approval of various course materials, including presentations, role plays, case studies, written and/or verbal tests, scoring parameters, and training evaluations
- Document processes and provide ongoing program recommendations and improvements for training program
- Review and recommend on reports and trends related to various training programs, development results, etc.
- Ensure successful completion of required deliverables and milestones by auditing training sessions
REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3 years experience with sales organizations preferred
- Ideal candidate will have previous experience in training or training management roles
- Training in Six Sigma or PMP a plus
- Ability to design and manage multiple project plans at once with a sense of urgency
- Ability to effectively structure and manage cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication & written skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite. Experience with MS Access or Crystal Reports a plus.
- Bachelor Degree Required
