Transplant Program Manager: VCU Health System

The VCU Health System's Heart Transplant Office is recruiting for a Transplant Program Manager. This position will support the administrative function of a rapidly growing CHF referral center, heart transplantation program and ventricular assist device center. Specific areas of focus will be in program development, with an emphasis on the development of referral networks and the development of disease management protocols.

Qualified Applicants must possess the following:

Education/training REQUIRED:

· Masters degree in Nursing or a related field. If the Master's degree is not in nursing then it is required to have a BSN from an accredited school.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible

Level and type of experience REQUIRED:

• 5 years of relevant clinical experience
• 2 years of progressive leadership experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated critical thinking, decision making and planning skills.
• Team leadership skills
• Performance management skills of coaching, guidance and feedback
• Ability to empower and recognize the work of others
• Ability to collaborate with others in achieving shared goals and outcomes
• Strong aptitude for program development.
