HR Coordinator

Growing professional service firm in search of a self-motivated individual to work in our Chanhassen, MN office. The ideal candidate must show a high level of sensitivity, professionalism and urgency. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, good intuition with regard to prioritization and organization, and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and personal information.

Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources the HR Coordinator will:

· Maintain personnel folders and HRIS

· Track employee PTO balances

· Administer benefit enrollments and terminations (including HSA, FSA, health, dental, vision, COBRA, etc.)

· Generates employee reports at the request of Finance and HR Directors

· Maintain records (paper and electronic) on all employee status changes (i.e. change of address, departmental transfers, rate increases, hires, terminations, etc.)

· Draft communications regarding hires, terminations, promotions and performance reviews.

· Collect and deliver all information needed for unemployment claims, subpoenas, disability claims, etc. as appropriate.

· Act as payroll backup for national and international offices

· Place job ads and maintain advertising contracts

· Coordinate temporary employees and contractors

· Coordinate employee rewards program

Requirements:

· BA/BS Degree in related field

· Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources and Recruiting

· Benefits administration required

· Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws

· Strong sense of integrity and understanding the importance of confidentiality

· Strong Word and Excel skills

· Must have exceptional communication skills

· Demonstrate the ability to multi-task
