Basic Qualifications: Must have five or more years experience in organizational programs or working with complex, cross-functional and high impact projects.
Core Competencies: - Bachelor Degree in Business, or Technical Discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Typically possesses two or more years of experience in leading projects. - Demonstrated experience working with project management tools and techniques in developing, managing and implementing multiple low to moderate complex projects concurrently, including identifying, maintaining, and/or adjusting the schedule, cost, scope, and resources of projects. - Demonstrated experience working with process improvement techniques. - Demonstrated experience consulting with clients, including independently identifying client needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results/recommendations. - Demonstrated experience interfacing and collaborating with clients, peers, project personnel, other departments and all levels of management to develop solutions and ensure stakeholder buy-in. - Demonstrated experience coaching and training on team building skills as it relates to cross-functional teams, and/or leadership and management disciplines. - Demonstrated experience in integrating processes, people, and innovative technologies. - Demonstrated experience making strategic decisions regarding project scope, schedule, impact, and implementation. - Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, and Project. - Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. - Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation. - Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics and integrity, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Preferences: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP). Masters in Business Administration or related field. Six Sigma Certification.
Typical Responsibilities: The successful candidate will lead projects that include process improvements, technology enhancements or organizational transitions. He or she will be responsible for the creation of detailed project plans with charter, scope, project management approach, work breakdown structure, cost estimates, change management (business readiness), schedule and milestones. Typical responsibilities will include: planning, directing and coordinating project activities to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with scope, schedule and budget; utilizing project management and process improvement techniques to make budget projections, identify/mitigate risk, develop and implement business readiness plans, and determine scope for projects with impact across the Operations Support (OS) organization; developing, prioritizing and implementing strategic business plans and further the department's process management framework; interacting, consulting and influencing at the senior levels of the various OS business lines to develop solutions and facilitate the cooperation between departments on shared objectives and educate on process management; analyzing information and making sound decisions that have impact to business process and operational impacts; ensuring implementation plans include business readiness plans and sustainability measures; communicating evaluations and recommendations both orally and in writing; coaching and training on team building skills as it relates to cross-functional teams, and/or leadership and management discipline; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
