Software Engineer - Intern
As part of a project team, develop and deliver a warehouse management system that meets the customer’s needs by the mutually agreed upon date.
You will be working with some of the best in the industry, and:
- Assist customizing RedPrairie application software written in the C, PL/SQL, Visual Basic and/or Uniface language and using the Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server relational database to match any changes required by the customer
- Assist in system testing of inventory control application software
- Create user documentation for developed programs
- Follow all company guidelines and standards when developing, testing and documenting application programs
- Work directly with the Practice Leader and other practices team members to achieve process improvement opportunities. This may include document reworking, website development, training & testing materials
To qualify for this exceptional learning and career opportunity, you must:
- Enroll in a qualified post-secondary educational degree program
- Relevant experience in software solutions and life cycle
- Minimum six months software development experience or college coursework (at least one semester) in the following:
- Relational Database (ORACLE preferred)
- 4GLs (PowerBuilder, Uniface,) or 3GLs (C, C++)
- Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to work alone as well as in team/cooperative development efforts
