THE OPPORTUNITY

LOCATION – Raleigh , North Carolina

Our client is a growing division of a global leader in providing machinery and equipment to the Food Industry. They are searching for an experienced Design Engineer to develop new products and equipment for their key customers. As Design Engineer, you will join a highly professional team in a vibrant and healthy industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design new products and equipment for food manufacturing, including conveyor systems

· Contribute to a team of marketing and manufacturing professionals to produce designs that meet specifications and cost objectives

· Manage designer and drafter resources

· Review and compute engineering calculations

· Work with team to select appropriate vendors

· Visit customer sites to evaluate designs and resolve issues

· Participate on product development teams

REQUIREMENTS

· US Citizen or Permanent Resident only

· Local candidates only ( Raleigh-Durham , NC )

· BSME Degree

· 5-10 years of machine design experience

· AutoCAD skills
