Job Details:	Position Summary: Reporting to the Nursing Director, this position is responsible for coordinating Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby Care Unit nursing activities, directly and indirectly relating to patient care and ensuring high quality, individualized patient care consistent with philosophy and objectives of the Medical Center . Requires broad knowledge of clinical and administrative nursing standards and practices, licensure regulations, and accreditation standards and practices. Position Qualifications: Minimum Education: - Graduate of a RN Training Program - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred - Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (Adv EFM) - Computer skills preferred Minimum Experience/Skills: - Minimum three years progressive management experience in the field of expertise preferred - Minimum five years experience in an acute care setting preferred - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Licenses/Certificates/Credentials: - Current California RN license - BLS - ACLS - NRP - Current LA County Fire Card
