Red-D-Arc Rental Coordinator (Inside Sales): Airgas

Job Description

COMPANY INFORMATION RED-D-ARC (a division of Airgas) is North America's largest welder rental company. We presently operate a rental fleet of over 45,000 welding machines from 40+ locations in the USA and Canada. Our business includes rentals, leasing and used & new sales of welding equipment and related accessories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Handle incoming sales calls, determine & make recommendations regarding customer equipment requirements. This is very much a "sales" position, not only in recommending the correct equipment to the customer but by promoting add-on sales or rentals of accessories and consumable supplies.
- Prepare rental agreements and associated documents
- Coordinate preparation & shipment of rental orders with shop personnel
- Work closely with outside sales personnel, communicating on any inquiries and orders received
- Follow up with customers
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rental units
- Purchasing of repair parts & miscellaneous supplies
- Assist manager with Branch Administration as needed

The rental coordinator becomes involved in all facets of the business. This is an excellent position which offers great growth potential. The ultimate goal of the rental coordinator is to efficiently service the needs of our customers and thereby help the manager and salespeople increase rental income.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to follow up & follow through on inquiries, quotes, orders, etc.
- Good communication skills, both oral & written
- Self-motivated; self-starter
- Commitment to great customer service
- Good understanding of welding equipment & processes
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of MS office products
