UnitedHealth Group has submitted a proposal in response to the TriCare Managed Care Support Contract Solicitation (also known as the "T-3 Solicitation"). TriCare is the health care program serving active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families, survivors and certain former spouses.
As a potential government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF85P.

Senior iLog Software Engineer (TRICARE) - Minnetonka, MN
Position Description:
This position will provide expertise in configuring and developing rules using iLog the Encounter capabilities for TriCare. The Encounter platform is a strategic component of the TriCare program and has high visibility within the organization. This application will be high volume transactional platform driven by complex rules and business processes. Candidate must be a Senior Developer with expertise with iLOG in a high transaction application.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience configuring, designing, developing, deploying and supporting complex rules using iLog Rules for a high transaction application. Experience with v7.0 preferable but v6.7.3 required at a minimum.
- Experience of iLog RTS, Decision Validation Services, and RES installation, configuration and management.
- Experience with tuning and debugging issues with iLog rules
- Experience with XOM and BOM creation and management
- Experience testing iLog rules
Experience with the following Technology is a plus:
- JPA (Persistence)
- Oracle 10g
- WebSphere 7.x
- Java/Java EE
- JUNIT
- Scrum/ABRD
- Automated Testing
- Continuous Integration
Other preferred assets:
- Tricare experience or familiarity with Tricare systems
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry, Claims processing and/or encounters (Medicare, Medicaid or TED) environment
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum project
- Post-graduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
