The VP, Market Strategy - Prescription Benefit Management position offices at our Minnetonka, MN facility or Irvine, CA facility.
Responsible for the creation and implementation of sales and market strategy for all of Prescription Solutions. Inclusive is the strategic development of new business opportunities to existing and new customers through the creation of new modes of selling, new channels, and new market development. Provides the strategy and plans for all areas of client and potential client interaction. Analyzes and monitors the existing business and competitive landscape and provides strategies and support for sales and company initiatives.
- Provides strategic insight and manages the client lifecycle from sales to client on-boarding to client reviews.
- Manages, interprets and presents all research and competitor intelligence.
- Develop and manage target market and market segment strategy.
- Manages data collection, analysis and reporting activities related to business development needs and objectives, in addition to developing communication channels through which to receive and provide input relative to sales activity.
- Manages and builds product development department using competitor intelligence and client feedback.
- Manages the proposal interaction and RFP feedback as it relates to the overall sales strategy.
- Interfaces with product management to prioritize and operationalize product development opportunities.
- Works with field Sales to bring to market and field intel into process.
- Identifies opportunities to optimize distribution channels.
- Assesses operating business risks/opportunities and identify strategies to mitigate/capitalize as appropriate.
- Directs due diligence and integration of new business.
- Works with sales staff in the development, implementation, ongoing enhancement and evolution of the regional sales business plan and strategy.
- Responsible for managing the budget for product development, competitive intelligence, consultant and market segmentation marketing.
- Owns brand management.
