Responsibilities:

The Patient Access Manager is responsible for the scheduling department which encompasses outpatient insurance verification, eligibility, pre-certification and pre-registration. In addition, the Manager oversees the registration functions of the Diagnostic Imaging Center, Diagnostic Breast Center, Outpatient Laboratory, and the Professional Office Building (POB) which includes all ancillary departments. This role will include monitoring and developing process flows and procedures to enhance the hospitals’ revenue cycle. It is essential that the Manager sets goals and standards to achieve optimum results and ensure accountability.




Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree, plus two (2) years of hospital/healthcare experience and three (3) years of management experience required.

OR

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, eight (8) years of related experience may be substituted. Additional two (2) years of hospital/healthcare experience and three (3) years of management experience required.
