As a Managed Care Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for supporting VNSNY's Managed Care department and agency initiatives identified by the Director of Managed Care Planning and Analysis and the various strategic business units across the VNSNY organization. You will provide project management oversight including technical and analytical support as well as project planning, coordination, and implementation support. You will provide support and guidance to ensure effective implementation of agency-wide processes and projects related to Managed Care initiatives including Managed Care Services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Clinical Product Development.
You will be responsible for providing a broad range of technical, administrative and analytical support related to the Managed Care systems including mainframe/browser, InterQual, applications, product development and operations. You will perform research, data collection and associated analysis including MCO performance on account level, pricing negotiation, contracting efforts, financial models, market sizing, sales plans, and operational workflows. You will also prepare related reports for management review and use and provides analysis and commentary on MCO and product performance.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Accounting, Finance or the equivalent required. Master's degree in related discipline preferred.

Experience: Minimum five years of professional level experience in project management data analytics, integration and profiling plus two years of supervisory/managerial experience required. Advanced proficiency in personal computer programs including Excel, Access (including criteria statements, table links, database and report creation), and Word software applications required. Proficiency and knowledge of Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL and database creation and maintenance required. Three years of business operations or financial analysis required. Effective oral, written communication, interpersonal communication skills required. Strong analytic skills required. Experience developing relationship and managing third party software companies required. Prior experience working with InterQual system or other outside third party software also preferred. Experience in Managed Care including reimbursement, benefit verification and authorizations preferred. Knowledge of Crystal reports and script language preferred. General knowledge of mainframe systems and pen-based systems preferred.
