Helpdesk Agent I

Responsible for providing technical support of proprietary and non-proprietary computing systems in direct support of external clients, analysts provide a single point of contact for both technical and non-technical support for system related issues. Analysts perform troubleshooting tasks, problem diagnosis, resolution, or escalation and work on incidents of varying scope and complexity; receiving substantial guidance from on-line tools, and their peers.

Job requirements include superior communications skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited managerial oversight. A general knowledge of computer related hardware and software components and an understanding of a distributed computing environment is required, as is the ability to type. Candidate must have the ability to work weekends and off-hours. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have a great work-ethic and customer service skills and possess the ability to work well in a team environment.
