SR. RELIABILITY ENGINEERRESPONSIBILITIES: - Serve as the coordinator between internal departments, Ops, NPI Engineers, Product Owner to develop and to document reliability qualification plans for new products. - Work with PE, TE, Design, Package, Foundry and FA to pursue the failure analysis for reliability failures in three phases of FA: electrical, package level and destructive physical analyses. - Plan and perform DOE and/or mathematical analysis to improve the quality of product and effectiveness of the reliability stresses or resolve reliability issues related to products. - Maintain and improve reliability database - Calculate/predict failure rates using industry standard reliability models. Improve or modify, if necessary, the models based on empirical data. - Write clear and complete reliability qualification reports MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Hands-on experience in semiconductor reliability stress tests. Knowledge of instruments used in component level reliability stresses in semiconductors is a plus. -Familiar with CMOS I/O structures and ESD protection circuits. - Knowledge of high speed/high power consumption products is a plus. - Familiar with physical and electrical FA techniques - Familiar with fab-less business model. - Strong technical background in wafer fab processes and device physics, especially in deep sub-micrometer process such as 90nm/65nm/40nm and 32nm. - Strong technical background in flip chip BGA packaging processes - Knowledge of ATE testing. - Familiar with reliability statistics and industry standards (JEDEC, IPC, MIL). - Strong knowledge of reliability models at package level and wafer level - Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills - Able to work under minimum supervision - 8+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability - BS or higher degree in EE, Physics, Material Sciences or equivalent EOE NVIDIA is the world leader in visual computing technologies and the inventor of the GPU, a high-performance processor which generates breathtaking, interactive graphics on workstations, personal computers, game consoles, and mobile devices.
