- Responsible for system architecture development of RF Electronic Warfare (EW) systems below 10 GHz
- Responsible for the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Development of interface control documents, conduct system design trade studies, support design reviews, develop verification plans to demonstrate requirements compliance
- Key responsibilities include development of interface control documents, conduct system design trade studies, support design reviews, develop verification plans to demonstrate requirements compliance
- Other responsibilities include technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Qualifications:
- Active US Secret Security Clearance Required
- BSEE or MSEE with 15+ years minimum experience is required
- Minimum of 5 years in EW system design and development
- Minimum of 5 years experience communicating with customers and senior internal stakeholders
· Minimum of 5 years experience with system engineering processes as applied to complex electronic systems
· Minimum of 5 years experience with the working knowledge of RF receiver and/or jammer subsystems and functional relationships between subsystems.
· Minimum of 5 years experience creating functional block diagrams and describing system concept of operation
· Candidate must have 5 years experience in one of more of the following specialties as related to RFEW systems: digital receiver/exciter design, broadband transmitters/antennas, EW signal processing, emitter detection and tracking algorithms, precision direction finding/geolocation techniques, modeling & simulation, RF chain analysis, threat weapon system vulnerabilities, countermeasures technique development, tradeoff analyses, and system performance assessments
Preferred Additional Skills:
· Experience with Digital Signal Processing algorithms
· Experience with RF analog simulation tool sets
· Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, SLATE) and generation of subsystem and unit specifications
· Experience with High Frequency radio systems
· Ability to able to communicate advanced technical concepts clearly, and work closely with system stakeholders, customers, executive management and technical peers, to ensure compliance with system design requirements.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to work in an integrated product team environment.
· Working knowledge of RF receiver and/or jammer subsystems and functional relationships between subsystems.
