Loan Support Specialist - Roseburg
Job Description:
Performs loan servicing activities such as creating loan documents, booking loans, auditing loans and GL accounts. Ensures documents confirming secured status of loans are filed and tracked. Processes loan payments and payoffs. Resolves customer problems. Tracks insurance payments, researches loan issues and completes SBA reporting. Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel. Requires specialized experience and knowledge of the department/function and proficiency in performing most of the functions within the department; ability to read, write and speak English; arithmetic skills; knowledge of operational procedures, practices and policies. Ability to use office software (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and equipment. Requires a high school diploma, vocational training or equivalent. Technical Writing Experience Training experience would be helpful Ability to demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and apply to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Must be able to keep up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required, annual required, or job-specific training.
