AEGIS Therapies currently has an opportunity for a seasoned Therapy Recruiter. In this position we will provide you with a company laptop, high speed internet connection, business phone and fax lines, essentially everything a good recruiter needs to be successful in the digital age--better still--you get to skip the morning commute.
This position has multi-state staffing responsibilities for placing PT, OT and Speech Therapists in long-term care facilities within a specified territory. Your responsibilities include the development and management of recruitment and staffing initiatives, screening & processing candidates to achieve your hiring goals, and you are of course accountable for reducing contract labor in the facilities and maintaining a low cost per hire. This position requires that you meet business plan objectives and develop area specific marketing and advertising campaigns to achieve your hiring goals.
So what should a qualified candidate look like? You should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four years of professional work history in recruitment, human resources, or a closely related field. You must also have demonstrated success as a healthcare recruiter with at least three (3) years experience in therapy recruitment. You must have the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, be an outstanding communicator, and have a willingness to work fluctuating and flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends. Other recruiting skills required include a full understanding of online sourcing and the job posting process and computer skills at a level sufficient to meet the demands of the position, MS Word, Excel, Outlook at a minimum.
