Apprentice Driver/Sales Representative
Job Requirements:
Apprentice Driver/Sales Representative applicants for Con-way Freight (LTL) must meet certain basic criteria to be considered for employment. The applicant must be at least 21 years of age, pass a drug/alcohol screen, have a stable work history and possess an exemplary safe driving record.
Program Description:
The Con-way Freight (LTL) apprenticeship program is an intensive twelve module training program consisting of classroom as well as hands on driving experience. The apprentice will be hired as a dock worker and train up to 90 days in the program. If successfully completed, the student will be eligible to test to obtain a Commercial Drivers License with hazardous materials endorsements and doubles/triples endorsements, and successful passage of the mandated Department of Transportation physical exam.
