JOB SUMMARY:

Communications Representative

Must be available mostly nights, weekends, and holidays.

JOB SUMMARY:


Under direct supervision, the Communications Representative processes communication services between Children's Hospital, the general public, and other related center divisions. Operates the Telexcom Console, Air touch Paging System and other emergency systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or GED, and/or equivalent education experience

Three months previous experience in a similar position, may include reception, high level phone traffic

Previous experience with console or heavy reception work

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a high-pressure environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to perform multiple tasks while working PBX

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:


Specifically looking for PBX operator experience

Bilingual Spanish/English desirable
