Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, located in Burbank, CA is a 431-bed
facility which provides premier healthcare to the San Fernando Valley.

The Director, Mission Leadership works closely with the Chief Mission
Integration Officer and the hospital administrator(s) at the assigned ministries
of the region to ensure that the mission and core values of Providence Health
and Services are understood and sustained throughout these hospitals. Works with
management, staff, physicians, the foundation, board, volunteers and community
in furthering the understanding of the mission of Providence Health and
Services. Works toward the integration of the mission and core values into the
life, policies, practices and programs in assigned areas of the Region. Reports
directly to the Chief Mission Integration Officer. He/she has an indirect
reporting relationship to the administrators of his/her assigned ministry
site(s).
Job Specifications
Experience
Understanding of the principles and practices of adult learning. A minimum of
five years of progressively responsible experience in management, education,
clinical practice in healthcare-related field, or orientation to health care
through a structured internship program.
Roman Catholic preferred.
Minimum Education
Masters Degree in theology or equivalent.
