Job Description: Our 20-bed Med Surg/Trauma ICU provides optimal care to trauma, general surgery, respiratory failure, and cardiac patients. The Registered Nurse independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients and uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patients plan of care. Primary diagnoses in the unit are Respiratory failure, (COPD, pneumonia) cardiac (MI, Chest pain), trauma, and general surgery.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse License. Current ACLS. CCRN preferred. Minimum 3 years recent Med Surg ICU experience required.
