Job Description
Role is responsible for the execution and operation of GSS NA (Global Shared Services, North America). Accounting and Finance (A&F) initiatives across Transactional Tax service line and operating companies. Manage liaison between GSS NA A&F Tax and SOC’s (Siemens Operating Companies) senior management in the accounting, purchasing and other key support functions within the business. Develop and manage Service Level Agreements (SLA), transactional pricing models, business plans, forecasts and budgets. Provides effective control and compliance environment - including and not limited to SOX 404 controls, anti-corruption controls and internal Siemens compliance requirements.
Develop service line roadmaps to identify ways to further reduce cost and improve quality through technology, productivity or scale. Partner with outsource suppliers to deliver agreed to service level targets, to identify areas of opportunities for process improvement and to implement solutions which reduce cost and improve quality of processing transactions. Determines organizational structures and managerial relationships. Direct and develop management team in the areas of Customer Service and Operations to effectively meet or exceed SLA requirements and customer expectation. Provide a high performance culture where employees are duly challenged, recognized and rewarded, and one in which employees are encouraged to cooperate to deliver excellent results in a friendly, professional setting. Directly interface with SC Tax leadership for coordination and alignment of key tax initiatives and identification of risks and opportunities
Qualifications:
-Have successfully managed high volume, corporate tax or audit organization
-10 or more years of financial management experience in audit or tax
-Minimum 5 years management experience (coaching, hiring and reviewing team members) in audit or tax field, required
-Extensive understanding of State and Local Taxation
-Understanding of General Accepted Accounting

-Ability to proficiently use Windows Applications and financial software packages
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) a must
-Highly organized, attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
