Duties:
Responsible to provide timely, relevant, and accurate analysis of technology operational data and processes as needed. Perform business and operational analysis to align technology initiatives with the business value to support decision making. Individual is expected to investigate and understand diverse areas of the University. IT Business Analyst is expected to work with minimal supervision and provide leadership on projects. *HJ
Qualifications:
Strong ability to align technology initiatives with business value. Ability to learn quickly and have an ongoing learning attitude Ability to relate smaller scoped tasks to larger more complete organization-wide or even university-wide implication Ability to think analytically and abstractly about complex processes and/or problems Ability to understand, collect, document, and then produce reports based on user requirements Ability to understand data structures and database entities in both a practical and theoretical sense Ability to extract data from a database using report writing tools which include but are not limited to:SQL, MS Excel, MS Access, codeless report writing tools (as in Argos, Crystal Reports, etc)
