Senior Geothermal Engineer Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Geothermal Engineer for Power Generation (fossil/geothermal) in our Boise or Hailey, ID office. This challenging position offers a competitive salary with exciting opportunities at a busy, employee-owned firm. Requires working in a team environment with minimal direction and developing or directing others in the development of P&IDs, equipment specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, equipment arrangements, 3D equipment models, pipe routing and other engineering for power generation facilities. Successful candidate will have advanced in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following: Geothermal Resources/Reserves, Geothermal Steam Field Wells & Gathering Systems, Overland Pipelines Geothermal Cycles and Optimization, Geothermal Process Systems, Geothermal Process Equipment, Two-phase flow, Geothermal Materials (pipe, valve, specialties, coatings), Geothermal Design Considerations, Geothermal HAZOP & Environmental Considerations, Geothermal Costs and Cost/Benefit; 15 years of facility and industrial system design with a minimum of 5 years in power plant design.
