Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Federal Financial Analyst. For Un-liquidated Obligation (ULOs) Validation, the selected candidate will identify contract and in-house accounting records that are in an out-of-balance condition, reconcile the accounts, prepare correction packages to resolve the out-of-balance condition, and validate remaining Un-liquidated Obligations. The objective of the review process is to ensure that obligations and expenditures are posted correctly in the accounting system and validate the reconciled ULO with the contracting activity, administrative contracting office, program manager, etc. The Federal Financial Analyst will also maintain financial documentation to support audit trail of transactions to the accounting system.

The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:

• Four-year course of study above high school or equivalent education leading to a BS Degree (two years of general experience may be substituted for each missing year of college)
• Three years of experience
• Experience with automated systems to include database maintenance and reporting
• Ability to extract and report reliable data
• Sound oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks on schedule
• One year of specialized experience
• Knowledge and application experience of basic accounting principles
• Ability to analyze financial documents and identify problems

This position pays 65000.00-70000.00 annually
