POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include GI lab, SDS, OR with 4 rooms and Sterile Processing.
Job Summary:
The director provides strategic planning, technical and administrative direction and leadership in the Surgical Services Department. These services include: Surgery; Same Day Surgery; Post Anesthesia Care Unit; GI Lab; Sterile Processing. Such responsibilities encompass not only the internal functions but also how they integrate into the organization's overall operation. The director helps create an environment and culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission and goals. Provides strategic planning and leadership in the development of operations, information and support systems. Seeks to promote and maintain a positive professional, team oriented and service conscious environment.
Experience
Minimum - Five years managerial experience in acute care setting. Clinical knowledge as an RN in Surgical Services.
Preferred - Multi-site program management and product line experience preferred.
Education
Minimum - Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent
Preferred - Advanced Degree desired
Licensure
Required: RN = Current RN License in the State of Nevada.
CT CPRBLS = Basic Life Support CPR.
