Job Description:
Rocky Mountain Engineering is looking for an experienced Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer to join our engineering team. Responsibilities include providing technical direction of a 4 -5 person HSI cross product team. Leading the team in requirement definition, requirements derivation, user and system interface identification and definition, process definition, software and hardware requirement compliance verification and validation. Responsible for HSI related CDRL generation.
Responsible for ensuring HSI horizontal requirement compliance on a large scale hardware and software development team. Position will require preparing and presenting HSI related training material to systems, software and hardware engineering teams. Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
Required Skills/Knowledge:

Minimum 8 years engineering experience

Experience with Human Systems Integration (8 - 10 years)

HSI engineering process definition and execution experience
-
HSI requirement generation, derivation, management, and verification experience

Interface identification and definition experience
-
Experience on a large scale development program

Experience with horizontal compliance on a large scale development program

US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
Desired Skills/Knowledge:

Leadership over user experience teams

Experience working with geographically seperated teams

Experience with identifying automation opportunities

Experience with DoD compliance documents

HSI modeling tools such as MicroSaint and JACK

Required Education(including Major):
B.S. in Human Factors Engineering (Preferred), Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or other technical degree.
