Currently seeking Retail Store Managers.

Job Responsibilities for Managers include:

  • Driving top line sales
  • Ensuring adherence of staff members to all retail policies and procedures
  • Training and educating staff to increase knowledge and create high levels of motivation to inspire team to achieve results and create a selling environment focused on customer service, brand awareness, performance objectives and recognition
  • Establishing and monitoring scheduling, staffing and payroll
  • Analyzing various business reports to understand trend and opportunity
  • Communicating, executing and managing marketing and visual merchandising initiatives to achieve Skechers brand objectives
  • Establishing a partnership with District Manager and home office personnel to support company initiatives and objectives
  • Maintaining proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transactions and maintain compliance standards for shrink control
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, evaluation and counseling of store employees to effectively manage employee turnover and retention
  • Working with District Manager and Human Resources regarding corrective counseling and employee separation (store manager only)

Job Requirements for Store Manager:

  • 2 years minimum retail store management experience and footwear background preferred
  • Considerable knowledge of retail systems, HR practices, and retail operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiar with managing a centralized work force
  • Computer knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience supervising assistant managers
