We seek an Implementation Data Programmer to work in our Implementations Group at our North American headquarters in Glastonbury, CT. This is a position that can require up to 40% travel, and you must either be within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the Glastonbury area.

Our Implementation Data Programmers provide conversion support to banks and credit unions by writing SQL stored procedures to convert source data into Open Solutions’ The Complete Banking Solution/The Complete Credit Union Solution. You will create, compile and debug stored procedures and assist analysts in performing QA analysis to ensure that the data is accurate. You will also provide remote/onsite conversion support.

In this role, you will

• write SQL statements to analyze data
• create, test and run application stored procedures that match the mapping specifications
• perform database imports, exports and refreshes
• assume responsibility and acts as lead data individual on project
• perform QA and database validation for all pre-cuts and live conversion
• provide conversion weekend and cut support for conversion of data and data review.

Required Skills:

The requirements for this position are:

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, or computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and on the job experience.

• Four to six years of experience working in an operations center at a bank or credit union.
• A minimum of two years of experience with TCBS/TCCUS Intermediate level SQL skills
• Familiarity with popular databases and at least two years working experience with relational databases and programming Strong analytical skills.
• Prior system conversion experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with SQL Navigator or similar querying tool desirable. Must be willing to travel up to 40% as needed.
• Must be willing to relocate to Glastonbury.
