Volunteers of America Chesapeake accomplishes its spiritually based mission by serving over 10,000 people annually through programs that spread geographically from Baltimore, Maryland to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Location: Baltimore, MD 1 PT House Supervisor positions: Thursday - Saturday from 4pm to 12midnight Relief/on-call positions available also. Work with offenders in a State Pre-trial Detention facility. The House Supervisor reports to the Assistant Director of Facility Operations and is responsible for monitoring and supervising the residents as well as ensuring that all aspects of program operations are performed in accordance with Volunteers of America Chesapeake's policies and procedures. The House Supervisor is to maintain control and order in the facility at all times. High school diploma with related work experience in a Criminal Justice setting is acceptable. Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. The ability to communicate orally and in writing, as well as, having general knowledge of first aid, record keeping and basic counseling skills are important. A bonafide occupational qualification status has been established for this position due to the population served. OTHER . Acceptable Criminal background check . Negative Drug Screening .
