Controller: Alchemy Search Partners

· Ability to detect new, unusual or complex transactions; research and recommend application of GAAP; document/write technical memorandums.

· Assist CFO and VP with analysis and/or high profile projects including M&A support and other strategic opportunities.

· Supervise, motivate and develop the accounting staff, providing guidance, training, review work, and ongoing support as necessary, manage workflow.

· Manage the month-end close process.

· Develop internal reporting package

· Assist Senior management in the preparation of annual financial statements and footnotes.

· Build strong relationships with our auditors while coordinating quarterly reviews, interim work, and annual audit.

· Ensure timely completion of all state, federal and foreign tax returns and regulatory filings and oversee the preparation of annual consolidated tax returns.

· Strong understanding and ability to be a key member of Company’s SOX 404 compliance process.

• Overseee clinical trial calculations

Previous Biopharma experience required

CPA plus public accounting required, Big 4 strongly preferred

Minimum ten years public/private experience, at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity

Solid GAAP knowledge

Hands-on SEC/SOx experience
