MEDICAL FINANCIAL COUNSELOR: CornerStone Staffing Solutions

Superb spot for a savvy star!! 3+ years MEDICAL experience is required with the following: MUST be detail oriented, accurate, have a strong knowledge of billing guidelines, requirements and coverage limitations, knowledge of insurance terminology, ability to decipher health insurance EOBs, the ability to perform complex calculations for auditing client accounts, etc. NV experience is strongly desired but certainly not a requirement.

This individual will successfully negotiate financial arrangements. This is a highly visible position requiring face-to-fact contact with patients in a very sensitive role. The individual will work closely with self-pay clients to set up payment arrangements including assisting them to qualify for various financial assistance programs. The financial counselor handles all aspects of research, patient account resolution, etc. They are the primary contact and resource for the payer and is responsible for knowing current rules and regulations of government programs and managed care payers.

MUST have reliable transportation as this individual will be required to travel to various clinics as needed. Stable work history as well as positive work references are required.
